The Department of Civil Engineering at Sri Sairam Engineering College proudly hosted a Skill Enhancement Technical Training Session on Indian Standards (Civil Domain) on February 20, 2025.
The session was delivered by Ms. G. Bhavani, Scientist F, Senior Director & Head of the Chennai Branch Office, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
Our students gained valuable insights into the importance of Indian Standards in Civil Engineering, covering aspects of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. The interactive discussions and expert guidance made this an enriching learning experience.
